The crown of Miss Italy now belongs to a girl who comes from one of the most difficult neighborhoods in the country: Scampia, with its problems and its great commitment to break out of the stereotype.

This is why Zeudi Di Palma, twenty years old, beautiful and intense eyes, is rightfully the symbol of an Italy that wants to change, and shows the abilities, the creativity in addition to the traditional beauty. Zeudi, a sociology student, model, and employee in an office, won in the final of Venice – broadcast live from the Ca' Vendramin Calergi building, home to the Casino' – because she showed that she can handle herself better than the others, whether it's interacting on social media, answering journalists' questions, or even providing help on the street – this was the mini TV series format of Miss Italia 2021 – to those in need.

In the first interviews – late at night – Zeudi defined herself “a model with a passion for football” – her favorite player is Lorenzo Insigne – but she can also draw and play musical instruments. She considers it a dream to make her mother proud of her.-

“I want to dedicate this victory to my mother, who has always supported me, all my life” was her first statement. Growing up in Scampia, explains the twenty-year-old “It was pretty normal, thanks mostly to my mother.”

It is the mother who created the association "La Lampada di Scampia" to give the neighborhood kids a better future, and keep them away from bad company". Her father, who gave her such a particular name, Zeudi (inspired by the actress Zeudi Araya, famous in the 70s) saw him very little, because when she was only 2 years old he left the family.

Zeudi, who defines herself as “lively and hyperactive”, in addition to fashion shows, studying at the university and working in the office, also dedicates herself to social work, with her mother's association, which in Scampia has already organized a singing event and other awareness-raising events on the problems of the 'Vele' neighborhood. In her free time she practices fitness in the gym. She is not engaged. This morning she immediately received compliments from the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi.
