The first hearings are underway at the Review Court on the appeal presented by the public prosecutor on the investigation by the L'Aquila prosecutor's office into the competitions to enter the Guardia di Finanza, through “Stand-ins”.
The prosecutor asked for the25 people arrested but the investigating judge rejected the precautionary measure. The prosecution appealed to the Review, who is discussing some of them this morning.
I three promoters (two members of the fire brigade and one of the financial police) have recruited some extras to be inserted at the time of the tests to allow beneficiaries to take the test on behalf of third parties and thus pass the exam. To obtain the pass, they provided false personal details or replaced the photograph of the substitute.
In total they are 68 are under investigation residents between Caserta, Capua, Aversa, Marcianise, San Felice a Cancello, Sorrento, Villaricca and Torre del Greco. They are charged with clandestine introduction into military locations, fraud and impersonation.
