There is a sudden spike in Covid contagion in Campania with a positivity rate that jumps to 18,83%. Hospitalizations are also increasing.
The signal of the failure to use masks has been heard in Campania in the space of 0 days and so today there are 6.416 new positives for covid in Campania out of 34.057 tests carried out (28.491 antigenic, 5.566 molecular).
The new positive cases were identified thanks to 6.034 antigenic swabs and 382 molecular. The positivity rate is 18,83%, a sharp increase compared to yesterday's 16,39.
The data was provided by the Region's Crisis Unit which, in daily bulletin, also reports 12 deaths, of which only 6 occurred in the last 48 hours. In terms of beds, 38 (+2) patients are indicated in intensive care and 666 (+3) hospitalized patients in dedicated non-critical areas. All data provided is updated at 23:59 PM yesterday, Monday 9 May.
