Naples, tiles dumped in the city center: a 58-year-old man already known to the police was identified and reported.
He is a 58-year-old Neapolitan, resident in the Spanish Quarters, already known to the police and with numerous crimes behind him, the person responsible for a waste dump that occurred yesterday evening in the center of Naples, between Via Toledo and Via San Giacomo. The man was reported.
He was caught in a video that showed him using a bin owned by Asia intended for separate waste collection as a wheelbarrow, transporting tiles, stones and other materials from demolition work, and dumping them in front of the historic headquarters of the Banco di Napoli.
The video was delivered to the Via De Giaxa Local Police headquarters, which, thanks to the images, identified the person responsible.
The officers went to his home and after identifying him they challenged him on the facts of the previous evening. The man admitted the facts confessing to having received a fee of €15 from a person he was no longer able to identify to dispose of inert material.
After notifying him of a €500 fine, the Local Police officers invited the individual to restore the state of the place, removing the waste abandoned on the public road, much of which had already been collected by Asia, which intervened immediately.
In addition to the crime report, targeted checks were carried out on RC regarding his possible receipt of citizen's income.
