Palco d'Autore 2022, registrations open for the 'Music and Words Award' in its third edition.
Registration is now open for the third edition of “Palco d'Autore”, the national contest dedicated to authors, singer-songwriters and performers, created by Tino Coppola and organized by Bit & Sound Music.
The first successful edition took place at the Arena del Mare in Salerno on August 17, 2020 and was the first national live competition after the lockdown, attracting great public interest with artists from all over Italy.
The second edition held on September 19, 2021 confirmed the success of the music contest, with a surprising boom in registrations, having received 412 entries and over 500 songs to select.
The testimonies of those who have already participated in “Palco d'Autore”, also available online on the website www.palcodautore.it, are proof that the Award responds to the need of artists to be truly listened to by the public, the jury and the other competitors. For many it was a surprising experience, in which they had the opportunity to meet artists from all over Italy with different styles, genres, voices and dreams, but with the same great passion for music.
Palco d'Autore is an opportunity to present and promote your artistic project to the public and industry experts. Free registrations are open to individuals, duos and bands as authors, singer-songwriters or performers. The minimum age of participants is 14. All musical genres are allowed and participants must send the registration request, with an unpublished or published song (audio and video), by email to: info@palcodautore.it by 20:00 pm on August 16, 2022.
The final evening will be hosted again this year by Claudio Gambaro (Radio Sanremo), a national radio and television speaker, an expert on the Italian singer-songwriter scene, and will see as always surprise guests, in addition to a selected jury that will decide the winners of the “Premio Musica e Parole”. In the musical village that will be created for the occasion, there will be the cameras of ARTECULTURA TV, with interviews, backstage and footage of the entire event that will be broadcast on a deferred basis.
