Yesterday evening a 45 year old from Casoria showed up at the local station barracks declaring that he was responsible for the accident in the Arpino area which caused the death of the 64 year old Angel Joseph Guidoni.
The man was arrested and, by order of the judicial authorities, subjected to toxicological and alcohol tests. The 45-year-old is awaiting trial and must answer for the crimes of road homicide and hit-and-run of the driver in the event of road homicide, as well as failure to provide assistance.
Last night the Carabinieri of the Arpino station Casoria intervened in via lieutenant Vincenzo Formicola for a pedestrian accident. A 64-year-old local man was reportedly hit by a motorcycle driven by a stranger, then fled without providing assistance.
After the accident, the man was transported by ambulance toFrattamaggiore Hospital but unfortunately he died from the serious injuries he suffered.
