Second episode of Cinealici 2022 with film tastings at the Torre Vicereale in Cetara which opens its spaces to sensory paths dedicated to anchovy colatura, combined with the screening of cult films.
From an idea of setting yourself, it will be the sea, the fishing and the extraordinary humanity that these elements bring with them to marry with the cinematographic imaginaries, in the four monthly appointments.
At the Sala Grotta, Friday 11 November, from 20.45pm, eyes fixed on Ang Lee's masterpiece (2012), Life of Pi, the incredible adventure of a boy who survives a shipwreck, with the "unusual" company of a Bengal tiger.
Nominated for eleven Academy Awards, the film was recognized for best direction, best special effects, best photography and best soundtrack. Starting at 20 pm, in collaboration with the Amici delle Alici association, it will be possible to enjoy the tasting at the Museo Cantina, during the Mani in Rete workshop on the techniques of “ramming” fishing nets, a tradition of the village that is passed down from generation to generation, told by the fisherman Alfonso Pellegrino.
It will be the turn of the taste partners, San Pietro restaurant, which will offer a welcome aperitif, together with the La Cianciola restaurant, with a special preparation by chef Vincenzo Giorgio. In the cellar, the red Irpinia wines of Cantine Terranera.
The typical products, anchovies, tuna and DOP colatura, will be offered by the Delfino Battista company, which has been working with Cetarese specialties since 1950. The next final events, same place and same time, are Friday 18 November, with Big Fish – The stories of an incredible life, by Tim Burton (2003) and Friday 25 November, for the film Mediterraneo, by Gabriele Salvatores (1991).
