The activity of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza continues without interruption Avellino to combat commercial abuse and comply with the requirements for the sale of products.
As part of this activity, following targeted services, financial police from the Economic-Financial Police Unit of the Irpinia capital and from the Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi branch proceeded to check several commercial establishments located in Avellino and Montella, finding a total of approximately 360.000 items of items falling into the "toys" category on display for sale to customers, as well as 1.588 items falling into the "cosmetics" category, without the "CE" mark and information set for consumer protection, in violation of the provisions of current legislation.
The responsible parties were reported to the competent authorities for the imposition of a pecuniary sanction ranging from 516,00 to 25.823,00.
The activity carried out demonstrates the continuous action exercised by the financial police of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Avellino to contrast the diffusion of products that do not comply with safety standards, necessary to guarantee effective consumer protection, as well as a competitive market where honest economic operators can benefit from fair conditions of competition.
