For several days, the Renato Caccioppoli High School in Scafati has been experiencing a water service problem that seems unsolvable under the deafening silence of the Province which owns the building.
The school is struggling between reduced hours on some days and total closure on others, forced to effectively interrupt school activities until further notice. No news about the fault to be repaired, no certainty about the times and meanwhile under the astonished eyes of an entire community the right to study is interrupted so much so that the principal D'Alessandro was forced to send a letter to the address of the Carabinieri Tenenza del Comune di Scafati, to the Municipal Police to ask for support.
The subject of the urgent communication is precisely the reporting of the serious disruption and the prolonged interruption of school attendance. The water failure that occurred last week has not yet been resolved despite “the repeated reports and various reminders to the Provincial Authority of Salerno, owner of the property.

The in-house company of the Province, Arechi Multiservice Spa, has not yet intervened to resolve the fault and the students of this high school remained at home on Friday 27th starting from 11.30 am, on Saturday 28th for the whole day and again today, Monday 30th, for the whole day.
To date - reports the principal D'Alessandro -, the company Arechi Multiservice Spa has not yet gone to the Institute to begin the work of temporarily restoring the service it had ensured. This almost certainly means that the school will remain unusable for the next few days.
