Yesterday afternoon the agents of the General Prevention Office of the police headquarters of Napoli, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, they intervened in Piazza Garibaldi at the shopping gallery following a report of a theft.
The police officers, who arrived on the scene, found that a man had been stopped by security personnel because, shortly before, he had set off the anti-theft barriers' audible alarm in an attempt to steal three items of clothing worth approximately 70 euros.
A 31-year-old Georgian, illegally residing in the country, was reported for aggravated theft and illegal entry and residence in the country.
