Amo' is the title of the new single by Zetas, available from Friday 26 May on all digital platforms published by DJ's Choice, partner label of Four Flies Records.
Annarella and Miriade are two millennials from Salerno who have frequented the underground Hip-Hop scene since they were children.
Between jams, freestyles and atypical listening for their generation, they give life to the Zetas project. Active since 2019, they return today with this single that somehow marks their debut in the Italian and international music scene, thanks to the production of Tonico70 and the recording support of Four Flies Records and DJ's Choice.
Amo' immediately makes their intentions clear: dialect and slang in the lyrics and sounds that look to the 90s with a conscious contemporary reinterpretation. Raw rhymes and overbearing flow put their foot down on a production that does not want to be nostalgia for Boom Bap, but a modern reinterpretation of classic sounds. The right balance between old school and a fresh groove, where the melody of dialect rhymes marries the rhythms of funk, soul and R'N'B.
The release anticipates the publication of the 7'' of the same name which will also contain the b-side "Voce 'e notte", with pre-order available here https://www.fourfliesrecords.com/product/amo-voce-e-notte/.
The band is now working on the release of their debut album, scheduled for the end of next September.
