Yesterday afternoon the police officers from the police station Vicar – Mercato, during the territory control service, while passing through via Carlo Poerio, they noticed a man who, after punching a person in the face causing him to fall to the ground, stole the cell phone from his hands and then ran away.
The police chased and caught up with the man in via Carriera Grande but the latter, in an attempt to escape again, hit the officers several times who finally blocked him, finding him in possession of the smartphone stolen shortly before.
A 34-year-old Moroccan with a criminal record was arrested for robbery and resisting a public official.
