The agents of the General Prevention Office of the Police Headquarters Napoli, during the territory control service, while passing through via Sant'Antonio Abate, they noticed a person riding a scooter who, at the sight of them, threw a container on the ground and then quickly walked away.
A chase ensued which ended in Vico Crispano at the corner with Via Sant'Antonio Abate where the man abandoned the vehicle to flee on foot, disappearing without a trace.
Shortly after, the police officers, while walking along Vico Pergole, intercepted the fugitive and blocked him; furthermore, they recovered the container thrown shortly before in which they found 23 packages containing approximately 5 grams of cocaine.
A 46-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record was arrested for possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
