He confessed to the murder Anas Saaoud, the 20-year-old arrested on Friday for the death of Giuseppe Turco, 17-year-old from Villa Literno stabbed and killed on the night of Thursday 29 June in Piazza Villa in Casal di Principe.
During today's interrogation, held in the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere (where he is being held), the young man, of Moroccan origin but raised in Italy where he works as a plumber, answered all the questions of the investigating judge Ilaria Giuliano, admitting the facts.
As reported by his defense attorney, Mirella Baldascino, the young man is said to be very psychologically affected and regretful of what he did. He also apologized to the family of the murdered 17-year-old.
The decision of the investigating judge on the validation of the arrest of the 20-year-old and on his possible preventive detention is expected in the next few hours. In the meantime, it has been learned that the autopsy on the body of the 17-year-old should be held on Wednesday 5 July at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the hospital of Giugliano in Campania (Naples). Only after that can the funeral be organized.
