The entrance door of a car rental company was set on fire last night in Somma Vesuviana.

The incident occurred in via Pomintella. There were no injuries. The Fire Brigade intervened on site and put out the flames, as did the Carabinieri of the station Somma Vesuviana who started investigations into the incident.

The military interviewed the garage owner who reported that he had never received threats or extortion requests and that he was unable to explain the reasons for the act.
