Last night, Jersey City police found Cosimo Corrado, the Youtuber Salerno, known as Kazuosan, who disappeared over the weekend in New York.
The young man was found unconscious, completely naked, probably the victim of an attack and robbery while returning to the hotel. The attackers took his cell phone, wallet, glasses and even his clothes.
Fortunately, some passers-by noticed the body of the twenty-one-year-old on the ground and immediately called for help. Cosimo was taken to the hospital, where he is currently.
Despite the shock he suffered, Cosimo's conditions do not appear to be serious, according to doctors. Yesterday evening, the boy was able to speak to his family members who remained in Italy to reassure them, even though he was still very shaken. Once he has fully recovered, he will collaborate with the American authorities to provide details on the terrible event.
This afternoon he will finally be able to hug his father, brother and colleague again Samuel Mattei, known as “Captain Blazer”, who flew to the United States to support him. It was Captain Blazer himself who raised the alarm about Cosimo's disappearance on social media.
The young man was in New York for work reasons, but his disappearance had greatly worried his family.
He had flown to the States for work reasons. The boy, in fact, had decided to reach New York to record a video at the Pizzeria “San Matteo”: the owner of the place, Cyrus Casella, is originally from Salerno, just like the youtuber.
Despite this, Cosimo has never set foot in the famous New York pizzeria. His parents have been unable to contact him since Saturday morning: when they tried to call him, in fact, a stranger explained to them that he had found the Youtuber's phone in a small park in Manhattan.
The American police are investigating the case to clarify whether Cosimo was attacked in the back of the head or drugged before being robbed. He will provide the details to the authorities.
The family thanked the Jersey City police for finding Cosimo, visibly moved by the news.
