From prison he sent messages to his ex-partner in which he promised that he would have her killed because he could not tolerate the end of their relationship.
This is a detail that emerged from the investigations into the attempted murder of 32-year-old Annarita Taddeo, wounded by a gunshot to the head last November 11 in Benevento, at the entrance to her home in via Ferrara.
The Flying Squad of Benevento today executed a prison custody order, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Benevento at the request of the Sannio Prosecutor's Office, against the 38-year-old Nicola Fallarino currently detained in the prison of Augusta, (and sentenced to life imprisonment with a sentence that has become definitive, because he is considered one of the perpetrators of the murder of Cosimo Nizza, 48 years old, killed with three gunshots in April 2009 in the Libertà district) considered the instigator of the attempted femicide as well as being accused of illegal possession of a weapon, attempted extortion with multiple aggravating factors and robbery with multiple aggravating factors, always against his ex-partner.
The woman, found by the police lying on the floor while losing blood, suffered a fractured skull and in the hospital they removed the bullet that had lodged in her forehead. She then told the police that she had pretended to be dead and that she had seen the killer who, after wounding her, entered the apartment rummaging through her bag and taking away her cell phones and the sum of 2 thousand euros.
The cell phones were later found by the officers and, despite the killer's attempt to damage them, it was possible to recover the messages inside them, which clearly showed that the woman's ex had formed the intention of having her killed.
In the messages, in fact, the man threatened her that he would have her shot, that he would have everything she and her family owned set on fire, from her house to her car to the businesses she managed, and that by scorching the earth around her he would force her to leave Benevento, all as a penalty for having distanced herself from him.
In the messages, the 38-year-old boasted of having the possibility of having her killed despite being detained, being able to count on numerous friendships, also developed in prison, with people ready to reach Benevento, strike and leave.
In addition to his ex-partner, the man threatened to kill his mother and that he was waiting for his father to get out of prison to have him killed too. At the same time as the precautionary measure was being executed against the man, personal, local and computer searches were carried out on 28 people living in the province of Benevento, two inmates in the Benevento prison and 10 inmates in the Augusta prison, in order to shed light on the vast support network for the suspect.
During the searches, 3 cell phones were seized in the Augusta prison, numerous others in homes together with PCs and tablets, 3,50 grams of hashish, 4,30 grams of cocaine with the arrest of the owner in flagrante delicto, numerous credit titles of significant amounts on which investigations will be carried out.
Finally, the order for the execution of concurrent sentences against a convicted person was executed and notified to the prisoner, again by order of the Benevento Public Prosecutor's Office, with which, following a decision by the Benevento Assize Court acting as execution judge, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, life imprisonment was applied but with daytime isolation for a duration of 1 year and accessory penalties, given that the same person had to serve, in addition to the life sentence, a cumulative sentence of 26 years and 8 months of imprisonment for other convictions.
