A 63-year-old woman lost her life in a serious road accident that occurred late yesterday evening in the Cantinelle area of Sant'Agata dei Goti, in the province of Benevento.

The impact was extremely violent and the 63-year-old was extracted from the car while still alive, but she died shortly after at the “San Pio” hospital in Benevento, where she had been transferred in red code by ambulance.
The man was less seriously injured and the doctors judged him curable in 30 days. The little girl, however, was hospitalized in serious conditions in the Santobono pediatric hospital in Napoli.
Road closed to traffic for several hours
The Carabinieri of the Montesarchio company intervened on the scene of the tragedy and are investigating to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident. The accident caused the closure of the road for several hours, causing disruption to traffic.
