As part of the services provided by the Police Headquarters of Napoli in the nightlife areas, several police forces carried out checks in the Vomero district, concentrating mainly in San Martino, in the Vanvitelli and Medaglie D'Oro squares, and in the Giordano, Scarlatti and Falcone streets.
The officers involved come from the Vomero, Pianura, Chiaiano, Nuovo Palazzo di Giustizia, Poggioreale Police Stations, the Administrative and Social and Anti-Crime Divisions together with the financial police of the Guardia di Finanza.
During the operation, 247 people were identified, 33 of whom had criminal records, 120 vehicles were checked and 2 violations of the Highway Code were fined. In addition, 6 commercial establishments were checked.
In collaboration with the health personnel of ASL Na1, 6 commercial establishments were checked and received 45 prescriptions for violations in the field of health and safety at work.
117 jars of sauce for a total of 35 kg were seized and fines of 4000 euros were imposed for violations of HACCP regulations relating to food safety and hygiene standards.
