Two road accidents occurred yesterday in the Caserta area, causing the death of three people.
A marcianise, a 67 year old man, Joseph Mavilio, died after crashing his car into the Loriano Castle. The man, a postal employee and resident in Lump Nevano, allegedly lost control of his car, hitting a car and going the wrong way on a roundabout before crashing into the castle. The hypothesis is that he had a sudden illness, as no signs of braking were found on the asphalt. The body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Caserta Hospital for an autopsy.
In Castel Volturno, instead, two men, an 82-year-old and a 40-year-old, died in a violent collision between two cars. The causes of the accident are still being investigated by the Carabinieri.
