A 26-year-old Indian worker was electrocuted to death in Eboli, in the province of Salerno, while he was engaged in unloading work.
The man was unloading feed into a parking lot along provincial road 30 when the crane of the trailer of a truck he was maneuvering accidentally touched the high voltage cables, electrocuting him.
The firefighters, the carabinieri and an ambulance from 118 arrived immediately on the scene. The 26-year-old was transported to the hospital in red code, but unfortunately he died shortly after.

The Carabinieri are now investigating the incident to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and ascertain any responsibilities.
