This evening, Striscia la Notizia (Channel 5) aired Luca Abete's investigation into out-of-control "burglaries" in Arzano, a method which involves using a car - probably stolen - to back into the shop window of a business until it breaks.
All this to allow the criminals to enter and quickly escape, and they ransack the cash register and the shop, as shown in the exclusive images from Striscia.
The correspondent of the satirical news program interviewed the manager of a recently robbed tobacconist's bar, after which he went to ask for explanations from the mayor Vincenza Aruta, who recently declared on this subject that everything was under control.
But he specified to the satirical news correspondent: "Work is underway to ensure that everything is under control."
Unfortunately, just a few hours after the interview, the tobacconist's bar was once again targeted by a gang of thieves who robbed the premises using the "spaccata" method, causing considerable damage.
