The local police have identified four wooden structures and one masonry one Napoli, precisely in via Caramanico.
While the brick structure appeared to be frequented by homeless people, the wooden structures housed individuals of Romanian origin who declared themselves squatters.
During the inspection, an electrical cable was found that connected the structures to a former cotton factory. Following the cable, a circuit breaker precariously installed on a window emerged, which was connected, via a flying cable, to an Enel pole near the Caramanico market in the Poggioreale area.
After Enel's intervention, the irregular subtraction of energy was confirmed, without the use of a meter, directly from an Enel box. It turned out that the land belongs to the Municipality of Naples.
As a result, the occupants of the structures were reported for energy theft, invasion of public land and damage.
