During a normal day of checks at the Station Napoli Garibaldi, the police have made an important discovery.

During a joint operation between the State Police and a patrol of the Italian Army as part of the operation “Safe Roads”, an individual emerged who was trying to escape from the turnstiles of the Circumvesuviana.
The suspicious behavior attracted the attention of the officers, who promptly stopped and searched the man. The search revealed the presence of 94 loaves of hashish, for a total weight of 10 kg, as well as 300 euros in cash.
The 34-year-old from Palermo, already known to the police for previous crimes, was immediately arrested for illegal possession of narcotics.
