Drug couriers stopped on the highway with 100 blocks of hashish in car,

Traffic Police officers from Cassino stopped a car for a routine check at the border between Frosinone e Caserta, on the A1 motorway in the area that crosses the municipality of Mignano Montelungo.

There were two people on board the Opel Mokka who, with their nervousness and impatience to get going again, aroused the suspicions of the officers.

A more thorough check led to the discovery of a backpack with one hundred packages of hashish in the trunk, for a total of about ten kilos of drugs.

The two drivers were arrested red-handed and locked up in the Cassino prison.
