Three young people missing in the Natisone: swept away by the river in flood

Three CHILDREN are missing after being overwhelmed by the flood river Natisone in Premariacco, in the province of Udine. The search has been ongoing since this morning at 13.30:XNUMX PM, when the alarm was raised.

The three young people, who were on the river bank, were surprised by the sudden wave of flood and swept away by the current. The rescue operations involve firefighters, divers, helicopters and specialized teams of the Alpine Rescue.

The search is concentrated along the river, also using aerial surveys. At the moment, there is still no trace of the missing.

The accident occurred due to heavy rains that hit the area in the last few hours, causing a sudden rise in the river level.

• 15.30: Two technicians of the Alpine rescue they were loaded onto the Civil Protection helicopter for aerial inspections.
• 16.30: The availability of two additional Alpine Rescue technicians is required for possible recovery with the winch.

Hopes of finding the boys alive have sadly diminished as the hours have passed. Rescuers continue to do everything they can to locate them, but the river conditions and poor visibility make operations extremely difficult.
