Naples. Yet another hit by drug traffickers in the prisons of Naples, Rome and Avellino with the complicity of corrupt prison officers.

In fact, since the first light of day today, a vast operation by the State Police has been underway, executing a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Naples court at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office - District Anti-Mafia Directorate against 30 suspects.

They are all seriously accused, to varying degrees, of criminal association aimed at drug trafficking, carrying and possession of common firearms, aggravated personal injury, extortion.

But also of individual episodes of drug possession and dealing and unauthorised access to devices suitable for communication by detainees.
