Melito. A 19-year-old from Melito was arrested and placed under house arrest for attempted murder aggravated by futile motives.
The episode occurred on June 14, when the victim, a 20-year-old local man, was seriously injured with a knife in the abdomen and chest during an argument with some peers.
The investigation, conducted by the Aversa Police Station, started with the report of the hospitalization of the injured man. The victim's testimonies and the acquisition of footage from surveillance cameras allowed the alleged attacker to be identified and tracked down.
The fight for trivial reasons in the nightlife of Aversa
The investigation revealed that the 19-year-old had acted for trivial reasons, reacting to derisive behavior on the part of the victim, with whom he had a previous acquaintance.
After the fight, which took place on the streets of Aversa nightlife, the victim was rescued by some friends and transported to the Moscati Hospital in Aversa. The injuries were so serious that it was then necessary to transfer him to the Cardarelli in Naples, where he was admitted with a reserved prognosis.
The 19-year-old was arrested and, by order of the GIP, was placed under house arrest.
