Starting from Monday 1st July 2024, the Ercolano Archaeological Park introduces a new ticketing offer with on-demand subscriptions aimed at families, young people and individual visitors. This initiative aims to build public loyalty and make participation in the Park's activities simpler and more accessible, offering open tickets valid for an entire year.
The annual pass, particularly suitable for residents and tourists in the area, will be available in three different types of cards:
– ErcolanoCard: for individual visitors, at a cost of 30 euros, valid for one person.
– ErcolanoCardFamily: for two adults and accompanied minors, at a cost of 58 euros.
– ErcolanoCardYoung: for young people between 18 and 25 years old, at a cost of 5 euros.
All passes will be valid for 365 days from the first use. Passes purchased before June 30 will remain valid until their natural expiration. With the recent expansion of the Antiquarium exhibition area and the opening of the Antica Spiaggia, which has returned 3000 square meters of usable space to the public, the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum has expanded the routes and the visit offer. From 1 July, the new prices of the entrance tickets will be:
– Full price: 16 euros.
– Reduced youth (18-25 years): 2 euros.
– Access to the Ancient Theatre: 5 euros.
– Integrated ticket for the Park and the Ancient Theatre: 19 euros.
Furthermore, the 2023/2024 CoopCulture educational offer catalogue for schools is available online, integrating study programmes with contemporary themes and new inclusive formats. “Ercolano is all year round! This is the intent with which we thought of a single ticket that allows access to the Park for 365 days”, declared director Francesco Sirano.
“For a whole year, visitors will be able to participate in cyclical initiatives and annual novelties, in a showcase with a thousand facets and possibilities. Our attention is focused on the loyalty of enthusiasts through increasingly personalized and inclusive work”.
Meanwhile, the underground route of the Ancient Theater of the Ercolano Archaeological Park will continue to be open until the end of June. The visit, reserved for groups of 10 people, takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 09:30 to 16:30, with visits in English at 11:30 and 16:30. This tour offers a journey through time through the eighteenth-century tunnels, accompanied by the Park staff. After a summer break in July and August, visits will resume in September.
