Sant'Antimo. Yesterday, officers from the Frattamaggiore Police Station, supported by personnel from the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, the Sant'Antimo Local Police, and the Naples 2 Local Health Authority, conducted an extraordinary patrol of the area in Sant'Antimo.

The operation led to:

Identification of 153 people, 39 of whom had a criminal record;
Check of 82 vehicles, with 4 subjected to seizure or administrative detention;
Charged with 12 violations of the Highway Code, for driving without a protective helmet, driving without a license, lack of insurance coverage, lack of periodic inspection and driving at an inappropriate speed;

Control and seizure of 4 commercial establishments, whose owners were reported for aggravated theft of water, violations of hygiene and food safety and illegal disposal of waste. Three of these businesses were also fined for failure to notify the Public Security Authority of the transfer of the building.

Seizure of 750 kg of poorly preserved food. The fruit and vegetables were donated to the Naples Zoo.

The operation was conducted as part of the efforts of law enforcement to combat illegality and protect the safety of citizens.

In particular, the seizure of food is a strong signal against those who put public health at risk.

The operation was welcomed by the citizens, who thanked the police for their commitment.
