An extraordinary event, a show that stands out with the strength of its ideals and the intensity of its performances, an unmissable stage performance. Beginning in Salerno, before touring the cities of Ferrara, Rome, Catania, and Palermo, this new and revolutionary version of "The Betrothed" is the brainchild of the eclectic mind of Michele Guardì. A RAI author and producer, Guardì was joined by maestro Pippo Flora for the music, Sara Baldini for the choreography, and Graziano Galatone as director, known for playing Febo in Riccardo Cocciante's Notre Dame de Paris.

A Work of Great Importance

AttoTerzo Produzioni Teatrali, in collaboration with EMA Entertainment, has decided to launch a national tour that will begin on November 9, 2024 at the Teatro Augusteo in Salerno. Advance tickets are already available on Ticketone. This show enjoys the prestigious moral patronage of SIAE and has received recognition of strong cultural interest from the Ministry of Culture and Education. The performance is proposed to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the death of Alessandro Manzoni.

The exceptional scenography, enriched by breathtaking projections, will transport the audience on an emotional journey through an atmosphere that recalls the era and the genius of Manzoni.

An Exceptional Cast

On stage, a colossal staging and an emotional power that proposes the classic story of the two lovers, transforming it into an unprecedented experience. The cast is composed of great talents: in the role of Don Rodrigo we find the director of the show, Graziano Galatone. Lalo Cibelli, famous for the role of “Spoletta” in Lucio Dalla’s Tosca, will play the Unnamed. Maria Grazia Di Valentino, who played “Lucy” in the PFM masterpiece “Dracula Opera Rock”, will be Geltrude. Finally, Margherita Rebeggiani, with numerous collaborations and roles in fiction and musicals such as Mary Poppins and Pippi Longstocking, will play Lucia.
