The Carabinieri of the Portici station arrested during an operation Vito Luigi Raiola, a 19-year-old already known to the police, on charges of possession and drug dealing. Raiola was caught red-handed by the military while he was giving a bag of marijuana to a customer on Via Diaz.
During the anti-drug operation carried out in the last hours, the Carabinieri stopped the young man for a search and subsequently extended the control to his home. There they found another 23 grams of marijuana, already divided into doses ready for sale.
The young man, born in Massa di Somma (NA) on August 26, 2004, was placed under arrest and is currently awaiting trial. The client, however, was reported to the Prefecture as a drug user. The operation demonstrates once again the commitment of law enforcement in combating drug trafficking and protecting public safety.
