On Saturday 21st September, at 11:00, the closing ceremony of the VII edition of the Ischia Film & Art Festival “Luchino Visconti” was held. This annual event celebrates excellence in the field of visual and literary arts and took place in the Aula Magna of the Istituto Tecnico Alberghiero “V. Telese” in Ischia Porto, located in one of the most suggestive islands in the Gulf of Naples.

Among this year's winners, two authors from the publishing house Graus Edizioni stand out: Emilia Martuccelli, just eighteen years old, was awarded a special recognition for her novel “La Rosa ei Cinque Cavalieri”. This work has won over audiences and critics thanks to its profound narrative ability and compelling plot. Alessandro Coppola, a young blogger from Naples, won the Visconti Prize with his book “Le Mie Orecchie Parlano”, managing to move a large audience with his touching narrative on the beauty and fortune of life.
Other Festival Winners
The festival also featured other leading talents in the contemporary cultural scene. The award winners included: – The scenographic project by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, created for “Tosca” and “Turandot” at the Caracalla Festival 2024, which won the Visconti Prize for “best opera scenography”. – In the painting section, certificates of merit were awarded to the artists Adelante Mattera, Ylenia Pilato, Emily Sirabella and Roberta Levato. – The Visconti Prize “Dimensioni Magiche del Cinema” was awarded to the artist and painter Grazia Famiglietti for her project “Di Passaggio”. – Maurizio Ponticello, author of the historical novel “La Vera Storia di Martia Basile” (Mondadori Editore) and the duo Claudia Carrescia and Paolo Iorio, authors of the historical novel “La Sirena di Posillipo” (Rizzoli Editore), were also recognized for their literary contribution. This edition of the festival confirmed its relevance and quality, celebrating artistic excellence and offering an international showcase to works of great value.
