A 50-year-old man was arrested in Orta di Atella, in the province of Caserta, for trade, carrying and illegal possession of explosive material.
The Carabinieri of the Marcianise company executed against him a precautionary custody order under house arrest, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples North at the request of the Aversa prosecutor's office.
The investigation, conducted from January to April of this year, has allowed us to acquire serious evidence of guilt against the suspect, a repeat offender, who works in the "fireworks" sector in the northern area of the province of Naples.
It emerged that the man was illegally manufacturing, possessing and selling explosive material, in violation of specific industry regulations, including those relating to the production of particular fuses filled with gunpowder intended for dangerous types of devices.
The 50-year-old was placed under house arrest in his home, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
