Giugliano. Important developments in the investigation conducted by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office and the Metropolitan Police, which has brought to light a network of disloyal employees of Teknoservice, a leading company in waste management in Italy.
The investigative operation has received unanimous praise for the authorities' commitment to combating illicit behavior that, according to initial reconstructions, has seriously damaged not only Turin society, but also the community of Giugliano in Campania.
Teknoservice, through an official note, promptly distanced itself from the subjects involved, categorically dissociating itself from any conduct contrary to the professional standards that characterize it.
“Justice has prevailed,” said Giulia Dicembre, the company’s CEO, adding: “As always, we will continue to collaborate with the competent authorities to ensure that justice is done. The four had already engaged in questionable conduct in the past that had led the company to issue serious disciplinary measures against them.”
In this case, the damage caused, Dicembre underlined, is to be considered "extremely serious", since episodes of this nature risk compromising the integrity and good name of Teknoservice, a company recognized among the main operators in the sector at a national level.
“Behaviors of this type, in fact, undermine the trust and reliability that we have built over time with citizens,” he added.
On a legal level, the company confirmed its intention to constitute itself as an injured party in the criminal proceedings, with the aim of safeguarding its financial and corporate interests, also reserving the right to request compensation for damages suffered, both in economic terms and in terms of image.
“The serious actions carried out by disloyal employees have caused damage to the image but also to the economy, not only for the company but also for the municipality.”
Finally, the CEO added that the company will carefully follow all stages of the process.
