Lo spettacolo
“La commedia” offers a sharp and ironic vision of the insecurities and neuroses of the average Italian male. Set in a modest hotel during a historic night in July 2006, when Italy won the soccer World Cup, the play skillfully intertwines the emotions of the sporting victory with the personal stories of the protagonists. Micheli, known for his ability to direct and act, will not disappoint the audience with his new creation.
The plot
At the center of the story is an actor with little success who decides to skip seeing the historic match in an attempt to win over an Eastern girl involved in the fashion world. As the atmosphere becomes tense and contrasting, the chorus "World Champions! World Champions!" rings out, highlighting an encounter that goes beyond traditional concepts of friendship and romance. This unusual dynamic becomes the heart of the comedy, putting the concept of friendship between a man and a woman in the spotlight.
