Two-car accident near Lloyd's Baia Hotel in Vietri: six injured

Late yesterday afternoon, a traffic accident involved two cars on Via Benedetto Croce, near the Lloyd's Baia Hotel, along the road connecting Salerno to Vietri sul Mare.

The causes of the collision are still being investigated. The rescue teams of the White Cross and the Red Cross of Salerno intervened on the spot, in addition to the Municipal Police officers for the relevant surveys.

Six people were injured, fortunately only slightly. The injured were taken to local hospitals for checks and treatment. Traffic in the area was slowed during the rescue operations.
