Late yesterday afternoon, a accident road accident involved two cars in via Benedetto Croce, near the Lloyd's Baia Hotel, along the road that connects Salerno to Vietri sul Mare.

The causes of the collision are still being investigated. The rescue teams of the White Cross and the Red Cross of Salerno intervened on the spot, in addition to the Municipal Police officers for the relevant surveys.
Six people remained wounds, fortunately minor. The injured were transported to local hospitals for checks and treatment. Traffic in the area was slowed during the rescue operations.
