Black work, five businesses suspended between Avellino and Benevento: fines for tens of thousands of euros

Five suspended activities and fines for a total of approximately 37.500 euros: this is the result of the extraordinary control operation conducted by the Territorial Labor Inspectorate (ITL) of Avellino-Benevento.

The operation was carried out with the support of the Carabinieri of the Labor Inspectorate.

The operation, aimed at combating undeclared work, began during the Christmas holidays and concluded in recent days. The operation involved companies operating in the hospitality, trade fair, public establishments, and personal services sectors in the Avellino and Benevento areas.

Ad Avellino, checks in three companies led to the discovery of 5 undeclared workers out of 16 verified. As a result, they were issued two measures to suspend business activity, with overall fines equal to 19.500 €. In Benevento, the checks involved two personal service companies (hairdresser and beautician) and a public establishment, where two were identified 5 undeclared workers out of a total of 10 controls. Here too, they were arranged three suspension measures and fines were imposed for 18.000 €.
