The fight against drug trafficking in Naples continues with targeted operations: in recent days, in fact, the State Police arrested a 76-year-old man, resident in Ponticelli, already known to the police for similar crimes.
The operation, part of an extraordinary plan by the Naples Police Headquarters, led to the seizure of drugs hidden in the man's home.
Law enforcement operation
During the night, the officers of the Ponticelli Police Stations, Poggioreale and the General Prevention Office went to the arrested man's home located in via Camillo de Meis. During the search, a plastic container with eight doses of cocaine was discovered in the kitchen.
Seizure and material found
During the search, the police also found two jars containing another 150 doses of cocaine, for a total of about 28 grams, inside a small room. The officers also seized a precision scale, an instrument often used to weigh narcotics.
