Vico Equense, 22 January 2025 – Everything is ready for the twelfth edition of the Stabiaequa Ten Miles, the foot race that combines the passion for sport with the enchantment of the views of the Gulf of Naples.
The event, scheduled for Sunday February 2 2025, will be anticipated by the Family Run, a non-competitive 2km race that will take place on Saturday 1st February. The official presentation will be held Tuesday 28 January at 11pm at the Sala delle Colonne of the SS. Trinità e Paradiso Institute in Vico Equense. During the conference, all the new features of this edition will be revealed, including the commemorative medal depicting the Fountain of the Three Dolphins, symbol of the city, and the technical shirt signed by the main sponsor Cartiera Confalone Spa, through the brand vit.
The 16,08 km competitive race, organised under the aegis of UISP with the patronage of the Municipality of Vico Equense, will start at 08:30 da Municipal Square G. SianiThe route will wind between Vico Equense and Castellammare di Stabia, offering participants climbs, descents and unique sea views.
Andrea Fontanella, organizer of the event, underlined the importance of making the event accessible to all: “To involve the entire community, the Family Run will be held on Saturday 1 February at 15:00 pm, a special opportunity for families and enthusiasts to experience the spirit of sport in a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.”
In 2024, Alessandro D'Ambrosio (Collana Marathon Napoli) and Francesca Sabatini (New Atletica Afragola) triumphed in a race that combined competitive spirit and spectacular scenery, earning the enthusiasm of the public. This year, with a maximum limit of 1.000 participants, the organizers aim to surpass the success of the previous edition.
