Rudi Garcia is the new coach of the Belgian national football team: the former coach of Rome e Napoli he was chosen to take over from Dominic German, dismissed after an unstable period at the helm of the Red Devils.
Tedesco had been hired in February 2023 with the aim of relaunching Belgium after the disappointing World Cup in Qatar, closed under the management of Roberto Martínez. However, despite expectations, the Belgian national team failed to shine: in the last Europeans, the Red Devils were eliminated at eighths of final from France, leaving fans with a bitter taste in their mouths.
After the experience that ended in the worst possible way with Napoli, inherited by Spalletti after the sensational triumph of the third championship, Garcia is now called to bring Belgium back to the top of international football. The objective will be not only to enhance the emerging talents of Belgian football, but also to revitalize a generation of champions who in recent years have failed to capitalize on their potential.
