Trump announces a $100 billion investment to fund Artificial Intelligence infrastructure, including data centers and campuses where new projects will be developed to develop new AI-based technologies.
The President of the United States announced that SoftBank, OpenAI and Oracle will form a joint venture worth $100 billion with the aim of initiating a massive flow of investments for the creation of new infrastructure to be used for the development of Artificial Intelligence, as well as new data centers and campuses. The investment plan provides for an increase in resources that could reach up to $500 billion.
“We are seeing an extraordinary influx of investment into our country, at levels that no one has ever seen before,” President Trump said in remarks at the White House.
The meeting was attended by SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Oracle founder Larry Ellison.
