The controversy continues to rage around Sportitalia journalist Michele Criscitiello, after a series of controversial events.
Criscitiello has been at the centre of criticism for an episode linked to his comments on the latest transfer window, during which he mocked Napoli, calling the winter transfer window disappointing in a sketch with his correspondent.
In the same broadcast, the climate of tension increased when Manuel Parlato, a colleague connected with Crisciello, denounced the staging aimed at mocking the Neapolitan market, hoping that other teams could suffer the same treatment. What was supposed to be a light conversation turned into a surprising moment, with Parlato's live firing.
Reactions to these events have not been limited to the virtual world, where videos of the incriminating moments have gone viral.
The issue has also found an echo in the reality of Naples, where in the Spanish Quarter, Massimiliano Nota, a former boxer and manager of the Tabaccheria Prezioso, has hung an ironic banner on the facade of his shop: “Michele Criscitiello: shepherd conductor… of sheep and donkeys”.
