Bad news for theInter di Simone Inzaghi on the eve of the return leg of the round of 16 Champions League: Piotr Zielinski suffered a muscle injury during Saturday night's match against Monza.
The Nerazzurri club announced that the Polish midfielder underwent a clinical and instrumental tests at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano, which highlighted a lesion, more precisely a distraction of the medial gemellus of the right leg.
Inter have specified that the player will come re-evaluated in the coming weeks, thus leaving the recovery times open. The stop will certainly be long, however. An absence that could weigh on the rotations of Simone Inzaghi, especially at a crucial moment of the season.
