A flurry of thefts shook the tranquility of last night in Eboli, where Dozens of cars were vandalized in various areas of the city: the alarm was raised by some residents who, upon waking up, found their cars damaged and immediately alerted the police.
According to initial reconstructions, the thieves acted with precision and speed, dismantling front and rear lights, rear view mirrors and even body parts. The goal seems to be clear: to resell the stolen pieces in the black market for auto parts, given the “semi-new” nature of the targeted vehicles.
The wave of thefts has affected some main arteries of the city, among which Via Giambattista Vignola, the Paterno area, rione Pescara, via Nazionale, Amendola Avenue e via carlo rosselli. Law enforcement is examining images from surveillance cameras in the area to try to identify those responsible, while fears among citizens are growing for a possible criminal organization specializing in commissioned thefts.

It's really worrying what happened in Eboli, I didn't expect there to be so many thefts in one night. People should feel safe in their city and shouldn't worry about their cars being damaged.
