Avellino – Arson attack during the night in Aiello on Saturday, in the province of Avellino. A car parked on Viale Unità d'Italia was set on fire, causing serious damage.
Bottles with petrol residue found
At the scene of the fire, the Carabinieri found two plastic bottles containing gasoline residue, an element that reinforces the hypothesis of arson. The owner of the vehicle, a local worker, stated that he had not received any threats or extortion requests.

The fire was put out by the Avellino Fire Department, while the Carabinieri have started investigations to track down those responsible. The images from the surveillance cameras in the area have been acquired to reconstruct the dynamics of what happened.

Reading about this arson attack, I wonder how it is possible that in such a quiet area such serious things happen. The investigations must be serious to find those responsible as soon as possible.
