American Airlines Strengthens Its Presence in Napoli and announces a direct daily connection to Chicago for the entire summer season, in addition to the one already in operation to Philadelphia.
The American company will thus operate two flights a day between Capodichino and the United States, offering travellers more connection options with North America.
“Following the success of our Philadelphia service, we are thrilled to add Chicago to our Naples network,” said José A. Freig, vice president of American Airlines.
“This new route strengthens our European network and allows passengers to reach Southern Italy more easily.”
Satisfaction also from Gesac, the company that manages the Neapolitan airport. “The flight to Chicago represents a strategic bridge between Naples and an American city with strong Italian roots, which will be able to promote tourism, commercial and cultural exchanges”, commented the CEO Roberto Barbieri.
This summer, Naples Airport will offer a total of up to 43 weekly flights to six North American destinations: Atlanta, Chicago, Montreal, New York JFK, New York Newark and Philadelphia.
Chicago O'Hare (ORD), one of American Airlines' major U.S. hubs, offers more than 480 flights per day to more than 150 destinations across the Americas.
