As part of the services arranged by the provincial command of Naples, the Carabinieri of the Castellammare di Stabia company carried out a wide-ranging service in the streets of Castellammare and Gragnano.
53 people identified and 38 vehicles checked. The homes of 11 people under detention measures were checked.
The military arrested Augusto Longobardi – born in 78 – pursuant to a provision issued by the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor’s Office, who will have to serve an 8-month sentence for tax evasion.
Instead, a 67-year-old from Castellammare was reported for illegally holding two 2×9 caliber bullets inside his home.
In Gragnano the Carabinieri seized a fenced area of about 100 square meters on Via dei Sepolcri, property of the municipal body. Inside the area there were piles of bulky special and hazardous waste for a volume of 10 cubic meters (electrical and electronic equipment, waste material and car parts). In the same area the Carabinieri found a car stolen on September 11th in Battipaglia and it was returned to its rightful owner.
