The Suspended Toy is back, a solidarity initiative by the Municipality of Naples in favor of disadvantaged children.
Thanks to the availability of the book and toy shops that have joined the initiative, a note underlines, anyone who wants to can donate a toy or a book and leave it 'suspended': it will be collected and delivered to the recipients through the city's territorial educational institutions, through the coordination of the Municipality.
It will also be possible to donate through the online platform www.unpaniereperte.it in the section dedicated to the suspended toy, thanks to the agreement signed with Asso.gio.ca.
The commercial activities that have joined the initiative will display the poster of the initiative outside the shops (which is attached to the press release) as well as being available for consultation at the link dedicated to the initiative, where you will also find the commercial created by the Press Office of Palazzo San Giacomo and the video appeal to donate by the two councilors (here is the link www.comune.Napoli.it/giocattolosospeso2021).
The Suspended Toy is a solidarity initiative promoted by the Departments of Youth Policies and Labor and Social Policies led by Chiara Marciani and Luca Trapanese.

The complexity of the moment has drastically increased the number of families in difficulty and even a simple gesture like a Christmas present can light up an extra smile and give a moment of serenity to children and young people who live in difficult situations. Taking part is really simple, putting an extra present under the tree of a boy or a girl in difficulty is first of all a great gift for all of us”.
“I am happy to promote a good practice of solidarity: not the suspended coffee like the ancient Neapolitan tradition but new books and toys for our neediest children”: is the comment of Luca Trapanese.
“I am also happy to improve this important project of the 'Suspended Toy' by promoting the delivery of gifts in the municipal socio-educational structures reserved for minors, structures where every day children are welcomed and educated in play. Play is a fundamental right, a right of all. I am certain - adds - that my more fortunate fellow citizens will surprise me with their generosity, indeed I invite them to compete to see who can donate the most”.
